Roofing in Tuggeranong: 80s–90s roofs and serious hail
The Tuggeranong Valley is one of Canberra's most hail-exposed districts — its open, low-lying aspect funnels summer storm cells straight across the suburbs, and big hail events here crack tiles, dent metal and shred Whirlybirds and skylights. The housing is mostly 1980s–90s brick veneer with concrete tile, plus a growing share of metal on the newer Conder and Banks edges. Those tile roofs are now hitting their first or second restoration, and hail is the wildcard that turns a routine restore into an insurance job.
